What to do with your iPhone's thousand screenshots
I just checked: over nine hundred screenshots. A recipe, a bank code, a meme, a parking spot I photographed in 2022. Screenshots are the easiest clutter to delete and the easiest to ignore, because Photos mixes them into everything else. Here is how to clear your iPhone screenshots in one honest pass.
Why the screenshot pile grows
A screenshot is a decision you postponed. You grabbed the info, meant to deal with it later, and later never came. iOS files every one into a Screenshots album (Photos, Albums, Media Types, Screenshots), which is handy for finding them, but it still shows them in your main timeline too, so clearing them never feels like a separate job.
Delete them in one pass, safely
You can select and delete straight from the Screenshots album. That works, but it is a wall of thumbnails and it is easy to nuke one you needed. Save the good ones before you delete
